Split out from "After playing 1.4.0" feedback by NK. "Overall, I preferred the card distribution under 1.3.0 where monsters were more themed to the areas they'd appear in more... Now under 1.4.0... quite a lot of the same cards across Dollet, Deling, Galbadia and FH, which made them feel a bit less distinct." In v1.4.0 each region draws from a range of cards that overlaps with its neighbours. This gives more cards to collect and a smoother difficulty curve, but some regions now share most of their cards. Under review for v1.6.0. Options being considered: Keep it as it is Ranges that only overlap slightly Ranges with no overlap Back to hand-picked pools, themed to where each monster appears in FF8 A mix: a smaller range plus a few themed cards per region Vote and comment if you have a view either way. More feedback will help decide.
